Department Introduction

Anatomy department deals with I MBBS and Paramedical courses. Our faculties are well trained in implementing innovative teaching methods for the learners to achieve their competencies.

Infrastructure available:

Dissection hall, Histology lab, Research lab, Museum, Library, Demonstration Hall, instruments and audio-visual Aids pertaining to each.   

Academic activities:

• We provide medical education to 1^st  MBBS students in the form of interactive lectures, dissection, demonstration, integrated teaching, symposium and small group discussions.
• We organize guest lectures for MBBS students to emphasize more on clinical Anatomy.
• We conduct regular classes for paramedical students both theory and demonstration.
• We motivate students in research activities, Presenting rare case reports in clinical meetings.
• We promote game way of learning and also using modular models
• We promote students creativeness by involving them in making models, preparation of museum specimens, posters etc.

Other activities:

• We do embalming of voluntarily donated cadavers for the study and research purpose of medical students.
• We promote body donation through voluntary body donation registration and we issue ID card after registration.
• We provide citizen’s service by embalming the cadaver(including postmortem embalming).
